I can not say enough about Martha and my buying experiences with Louie Herron Toyota. When I decided that I needed to trade in my Sequoia, I was unsure of what vehicle I wanted to purchase. I called Martha, told her I was considering buying a new or used vehicle, and I wanted to get with her and test drive a few cars, without the outside pressure of purchasing the day I came in to test drive. She gave me all the time I needed to do my homework, test drive outher dealers (Chevy, etc.) vehicles and told me she’d be here waiting on me when I was ready! When I decided on the vehicle, she made the negotiating experience fun and stress free! She told me where she was, I told her where I needed to be and we began the process of making us both happy! This is my 3rd time buying from Martha and when the time comes to purchase another car……….Martha will be the first person I contact.

Honestly, I had no intention of purchasing a car tonight. It wasn’t falling in love with the car and I had to have it. EJ was very informative and worked hard (because I haggled hard) to get the price and payment where I wanted it. Customer service is very important to me and put much emphasis on customer service. That probably got the sale as much if not more than the car itself (but I do love it – looking so forward to terrific gas mileage during these increasingly difficult times). I must say I was wary of EJ or any car salesman, but he was very upfront, professional and accommodating, inasmuch as he could be. I would definitely recommend others to him since is customer oriented with excellent customer service skills. All staff have been quite friendly. Tommy handled the financial end and was also very friendly, knowledgable and worked to get me the best rates. I should also mention that your Service Dept is awesome too. The guy handling my Tacoma was helpful and friendly. No one likes to pay for unexpected servicing, but friendly staff certainly help ease the “pain”. Many thanks for an overall awesome experience – and that from a gal who had no plans to drive home in a new (used) vehicle!

Do you ever have a great experience when you go to the doctor, when a friend has helped you out with some great advice, your personal trainer is helping you get into the best shape of your life, or maybe your boss at work is a really supportive boss and you just feel the need to twitter your appreciation or FB or even write them a thank you note? Well I recently had a really, really, great experience last week w/ an automotive dealership that I was dealing w/ and I really would love to share it. This is long but worth the read…I promise! I’ve been looking for a new vehicle since October…yes, October. I am a very picky person and I don’t like getting screwed when it comes to purchasing a car. I know what I’m doing so I don’t like hearing the BS! The two biggest purchases you will ever make in your life will be a home or a car…so it’s really important to me to make sure I take my time, do my research and get exactly what I want. Over the last six months, I obsessively googled every car make known-to-man in search for the perfect deal. I test drove SEVERAL vehicles. I had some good dealings with some dealers and some not so good ones. (Louie Herron Toyota & Gerald Jones Honda being the good ones.) I’ve been in the automotive business since I was 19 and my husband has been in the business for almost 20 years…….so there is NO taking advantage of us! I started looking at Toyota’s at, LOUIE HERRON TOYOTA, in December (yes I am aware of the issues that is going on within Toyota but not one bit did it scare us b/c Toyota is one of the best cars out there; every manufacture has their issues and I am confident that Toyota will come back out on top!) I looked at the new 4Runners (If you have not seen the new 4Runners go to, http://www.louieherrontoyota.com right now and check them out! GORGEOUS) and I was also looking at the Highlander. I went back and forth with one of their sales persons for about a month but I decided that I was getting too stressed out with the whole car search and decided to take a break for a little while. Fast forward to one week ago today……Toyota is offering some awesome deals right now! I didn’t have anything in-particular in mind, I just knew I wanted to take full advantage their deals. So Trey called Louie a week ago, (Louie happens to be a close personal friend of ours) and told him that “Amanda was back on the market for a car” and we needed to get in touch w/ his best sales person. Later that day, someone from, Louie Herron Toyota, called me on my cell, I told him exactly what I was looking for, the price I was looking for, what I was trading in, what I was willing to accept for my trade and they went to work immediately! Louie Herron Toyota didn’t have the car that I was looking for at the time, so they located it at another dealer and did what they call, “a dealer trade.” Now keep in mind, Louie Herron Toyota is about 90 minutes from Augusta so all of this was done VIA phone. Once they located my car, I gave them all of my information over the phone in order for them to get my pre-approval. He called back a few minutes later…I was, of course, approved and they sent someone to the other dealer to pick up my car for me that same day. The crazy thing about this is that I never even test drove the car….or any car like it! I just knew that I would be saving $150.00 PER MONTH and I really was getting a such a good deal that I could not pass it up!!! So the next day, Trey and I drove to, Louie Herron Toyota, to pick up the car. There was one little problem on my end… I had to wake up Saturday at 6AM, leave my house by 6:30 and I had to be back in Augusta b/c I had to work at 11AM. My sales person (Tim) got there 45 minutes before they opened b/c he knew I was crunched for time. My paperwork was already printed out when I got there and all I had to do was sign on the dotted lines. I was out of there in 30 minutes!!! If you have ever bought a car, then you know it takes HOURS to do it! But after some phone calls back and forth for a few days, them locating the car, I was able to do it all over the phone! It also helped them b/c I already knew exactly what I was looking for and how much I was willing to spend….that saves a lot of time. I ended up buying a brand new 2010 Camry..black w/ gray leather, sunroof, blue tooth, smart start…I got it loaded up…of course! LOL Plus, I get free maintenance!! WHAT?! I was worried that I wouldn’t have enough room for the kids but there is more than enough room! The Camry was definitely the biggest sedan that I have driven during my car search. Words can not express how much I am L-O-V-I-N-G my new car!!!! It makes all the difference when you are dealing with someone who is more than willing to work with you in the best way to fit your own needs. I know that Louie didn’t do all of that just b/c he is our friend….he would do it for anyone! I know more than anyone that dealing with car dealers can be a huge, stressful pain but I have to say that this was the best car buying experience that Trey and I have ever had. And we bought a Mercedes a few years ago and they have nothing on our Toyota experience! I could have went to a dealer in Augusta that was a closer drive but I am positive that things would not have went as smooth as they did if I hadn’t went to, Louie Herron Toyota. The 90 minute drive was so worth it! It even gave me a little time to spend with Trey w/o the kids screaming in the back seat…that’s another positive way to look at it. lol So this is my thank you, my great experience, that I recently had. Thank you Louie!!! Trey and I are very thankful and we appreciate all of Tim’s hard work in making it all happen w/o any problems!

i’ve been getting my Toyota Prius serviced regularly at Louie Herron for many years and I would not go anywhere else. Robert and his team are not only knowledgeable and efficient, they are courteous as well. All work, and potential work, is explained by them to you. The work is done correctly, and in a timely manner, the first time and the pick up/drop off service is a great convenience. I’ve never had a problem at Toyota and I expect I never will given the quality of the people who work there and the type of work they do. They are a well run team and business asset to our community.
